Alicia Harris

Alicia Harris grew up in Toledo, OH, where she attended Temple Congregation Shomer Emunim. During high school she taught Hebrew school and Sunday school and was President of her local BBYO chapter. She studied at the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned two majors: Political Science and Religious Studies. She served as a student leader at Pittsburgh Hillel and was a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a coed service fraternity. After graduation, she worked for two years at Temple Sinai of Pittsburgh as the executive assistant to the senior rabbi. This year she is at TJF fellow at The Valley Temple where she teaches fifth grade Hebrew and fourth grade Prophets and God. She serves as the Rabbi of Sha’arei Shalom Columbus Hebrew Congregation in Columbus, Indiana.
