Jessica Wainer

Jessica Wainer is a fifth-year rabbinical student at HUC-JIR in Cincinnati. She was born and raised in Chicago, Ilinois. Prior coming to Cincinnati, Jessica spent her undergraduate career at Indiana University – Bloomington where she majored in Jewish Studies. Jessica has served student pulpits in Beckley, West Virginia, and Bay City and Saginaw, Michigan. For the past two years, she has served as the Rabbinic Intern at Temple Shalom in Louisville, Kentucky. This is Jessica’s second year serving as a Jewish Foundation Fellow. Last year she worked at the Valley Temple, and this year she is serving as the Fellow at Rockwern Academy, a pluralistic Jewish day school in Cincinnati.
