Rebecca Benoff

Rebecca Benoff​ is a third-year rabbinical student at HUC-JIR. She has served as the student rabbi for a small community in Bryan, Texas. In the Cincinnati community, she was a fellow at the Mayerson JCC and has been teaching religious school at Wise Temple. Rebecca has enjoyed getting to know the Cincinnati Jewish community. Prior to HUC, Rebecca served as the executive assistant at the Edlavitch DCJCC and was the youth director at Etz Hayim in Arlington, Virginia. At the DCJCC, she helped with programming for young professionals and led Torah studies with the LGTB+ program at the JCC. Rebecca grew up outside of Philadelphia and attended The George Washington University in Washington, DC where she studied psychology and Judaic studies. She has always had a deep passion for learning, teaching, social justice, and Judaism. In her spare time, she loves hiking, traveling, and cooking.
