Samantha Gerstein

Samantha Gerstein grew up in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. She earned B.A.s in Judaic studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality studies at the University of Cincinnati. After she graduated, Samantha worked as a nursing assistant at the Jewish nursing home of Cincinnati, Cedar Village. In 2014, she started her career at HUC-JIR in Cincinnati, and she is now in her second year of the rabbinical program. Samantha is currently serving as the student rabbi at Temple B’nai Israel in Kokomo, Indiana.
