Samuel Kaye is a native of Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Allegheny College in 2007 with a double major in Religious Studies and History. After working in New York City and Chicago, he moved to Jerusalem to attend the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies. He studies at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sam co-chaired the HUC-JIR Former Soviet Union Pesach Mission and was an Abrahamic Program for Young Adults coordinator at the Chautauqua Institute. He is a fellow at the Cincinnati Jewish Foundation, AIPAC, and the iCenter. He has served as the student Rabbi at Temple Beth El in Beckley, West Virginia and the Rabbinic Intern at Temple Emanuel in Denver. Currently he is the student Rabbi at Mount Zion Temple in Sioux Falls South Dakota and teaches in the Cincinnati area.
