Simone Schicker

Simone Schicker is a fifth-year rabbinic student at HUC-JIR. n Cincinnati. She is currently serving as the TJF Fellow at The Holocaust and Humanity Center. She served as the TJF Leadership Fellow at Kulanu: The Cincinnati Reform Jewish High School in 2016–17, as the summer TJF Fellow for The Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education in 2015, and as a TJF Teaching Fellow at Northern Hills Synagogue in 2014–15. She is also currently teaching fifth grade Hebrew and third grade religious school at Rockdale Temple in Cincinnati, Ohio. Simone is originally from Houston, Texas and received her BA in history with honors from Birmingham-Southern College. Prior to attending HUC-JIR, Simone was a fellow at the American Hebrew Academy.
