Taylor Poslosky is a rabbinical student from Overland Park, Kansas. She grew up at Congregation Beth Torah where she was heavily involved in services, religious school, youth groups, and Jewish summer camp. Taylor earned her BA in religion from William Jewell College. After graduation she became the Director of Youth Engagement at Congregation Beth Israel in Scottsdale, Arizona, and developed strong bonds and curriculum at a variety of Jewish summer camps. During her time in Scottsdale, Taylor continued to study, earning a certificate through the Jewish Education for Adolescents and Emerging Adults program at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Her passion is working with Jewish communities in disparate areas by building relationships and fostering strong pride in and connection to Judaism. Taylor has held fellowships at Valley Temple, where she has built community through Shabbat worship, Torah study, b’nai mitzvah tutoring, and composing a new Family Shabbat and Festivals service booklet. She has also served as student rabbi at Congregation Anshe Emeth of Piqua, Ohio, and Temple Emanu-el of Dothan, Alabama.
